I’m so tired. It’s already 11.30 p.m. I’ve just been wasting time. I haven’t even gone through the lecture notes today.
Hmm…what have I been doing?
• I was showing my roommate, Kak Rena, a 3rd year medical student, the family pics when Kak ngah called from Egypt. No wonder the number that came out on my mobile was +8888888
• I burnt a CD for the first time… for a nitwit at computers like me…that is something.
• I was typing the speech for the raya gathering I had written down for Aimir. He didn’t ask me to type it, but, what the heck, might as well. It was quite a surprise that he even asked me to do it. Entah, never could understand him.
• I’ve been reading on the carrier state of typhoid fever. That’s the subtopic I have to do for PBL. But I can’t find much on it so I asked Nadia S if I could do the one on Salmonella typhi itself, heh, menambahkan keje sendri je. I went to Marni’s room to get the info.
Today, I had lectures on bacteriology by Dr Quazi, then intro to Parasitology by Prof Pakeer. The lectures were interesting especially with prof pakeer’s stories but I was a tad bit sleepy and doze off several times. After the break, I had an Islamic input by Dr Naznin’s husband who’s the Head of Dept. of Pediatrics at HTAA. It was on the creation of the universe. Then it was Dr Azizi’s class on pharmacokinetics.
During the lunch break I went to the comp lab but there was quite a queue. Whilst waiting for my turn, Aimir approached me to ask my assistance with the speech. Well, alhamdulillah I was able to check my mails and also chatted with kak yung.
The last class of the day was an intro to practical class given by Dr Hasan Elhadi who’s an Egyptian. Boy, does he speak fast plus his Arabic tongue. It was tough just understanding the words he said. On the bright side, it kept me awake since one has to be alert just to keep up with the lecture.
There’s much that I have to plan for such as the Catalyst, the Education Bureau and the exhibition next week on the ummatic situation of the muslims worldwide.
Alhamdulillah the results will come out in two weeks time. Gives me more time free of worries of the impending doom that awaits me.
For now, all I wanna do is sleep.
