it finally came out

Kak chik brought home two editions of the Inspirasi today. Of course I’d go through the 01/02 edition first, the one which involved my batch. After all the sleepless nights, numerous hours, frequent visits to school and all the time spent working on it, that was it. I even had to work on it during the semester breaks during my matriculation. And it was finally published after four years.

My sister was quick to comment on the mistakes in them. In one of the class photos, the teacher was wrongly named. And it had to be her class. I should have asked her first. Sheesh, that’s embarrassing besides all the other typos.

As I was going through the karya section, one issue that had my blood boiling last year, all of a sudden came back to me. How could they? There was supposed to be a series of Islamized Sin Chan comics and also a power puff girls comic. I realized that they were missing from the compilation in Safura’s possession as well as a couple of other stuff too. She didn’t know anything about it. Umayr didn’t know too. Salman AR did but he didn’t want to reveal the identity of the person who took it (it’s a good thing he didn’t coz I’d be cursing him rite now). He said the person’s rationale was that our school is an Islamic school and a silly boy wearing shorts just wasn’t Islamic. Something like that. Owh-kay.

The thing is, if u don’t like it okay, then have the decency to return it. Don’t keep it as if it were yours. How was I supposed to explain it to my friend and her family? I knew how hard he worked on it. The whole family knew. Owh they didn’t like it so they just kept it to themselves. Yeah, rite. My sister mentioned that one of her friends had the comic and displayed it in her file which she brings to school everyday. She’s the sister of ….. The nerve of some people.

Anyways, generally, both magazines were fine.
