the trip to Ulu Tembeling

We arrived at Kuala Tahan around noon after a 4-hour bus ride from Kuantan.
After filling our stomachs with adequate food and relieving our bladders at the expensive toilet (hey, 50 cents mahal eh), we were all set for another 4-hour BOAT ride to Kg Bantal. Boy, were we excited.
I was excited during the 1st 2 hours and then tried hard to keep meself from boredom for the next 2 hours. But the view was spectacular, Subhanallah!
We reached there by 6pm and walked about the place. There were buffallos everywhere. That night we had a discussion with our lecturer regarding our research project. Just as the session ended, the electricity was cut off so we all called it a night. the blackout persisted until the next morning so we had to shower and get ready in the dark.

The whole group, ready to follow the medical health team which provides monthly health services to the villagers who live along the riverside. The health team consists of an M.O, a staff nurse, a community nurse and a medical attendant. That morning we went to Kg Mat Daling by 4 boats.

At first, we thought that the river was deep since the water level reached the necks of the buffaloes. Ces, rupa-rupanya derang melutut dalam tu. Tertipu kitorang.

There were areas of the river which were not deep enough so as you can see, our boatman had to push the boat to deeper waters. We did get down a few times to push the boat too.

At Kg Mat Daling.

On the way back, we asked the boatmen if we could have a dip in the water and he agreed.

We had a whale of a time.

* There are chunks of major events that i have not yet included.

cannot write rite now. my laptops's being treated by my friend.

kite mmg byk melanin pigmentation kat muke, lead. its supposed to protect my face fom the damaging effects of the sun. i guess it prevents me from blushing in embarrassing situations which seem to happen a lot to me.
