Our OT gown. Rase cam pakai baju melayu yang ade hood je. Alhamdulillah we have a mask, just in case surgeons ask us tough questions and we give them lousy answers. At least then, they won't remember our faces :P
This week started with 2 sessions of talks by Prof Dr Muhaya, who is an ophthalmologist. She's an expert in her field and has many awards and achievements to her name. There were many great points that she mentioned but what impressed upon me the most was her sincerity in her work and humility towards mankind. She reminded those who join usrahs to know their pritority and remember their core business here is to study, to prioritize their activities and goals and to avoid getting too distracted to the extent that their main objective is compromised. She mentioned that among the potential traps of an IIUM student is the fact that they are jaguh kampungs; heroes amongst their own kind, a homogenous population with a false reality. I was kinda sad with the poor turnout. Sikit sangat yang pegi. Memang kalau buat program kat UIA Kuantan ni orang yang sama je pegi. Yang lain tu, tak tau lah nak ajak macam mana lagi.
InsyaAllah i'll share more later.
