today, i start my 4th year. 3 of my friends have to repeat the 3rd year. May Allah give them courage and strength to keep on going and struggling in this field.
being in 4th year means that i've already gone thru 5 years of study in this chosen field including matriculation. 3 years already in kuantan, wow. 2 years to go then i have a Dr in front of my name. just thinking about the responsibility that comes with it is overwhelming. tak pe, i'll cross each bridge when i reach it.
the 4th year groupings list came out this morning. i'll start with community medicine and family health. i'm in the same group as sibah, faizah, aida, adlina, najwa, kak farah n many more yg best2. tak berpisah jugak dgn azim, ihfaz and fahmi. also a few ppl yg i'm not so close to but i have the whole year to get to know them better. asma', aishah and syahadah will start with orthopaedics.
we had the introduction to forensic medicine today by Dr Zahari. He's the forensics specialist in-charge of the east coast covering Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan. best dgr his lectures. then we had 2 lectures by Dr Nurliza on forensic anthropology, a study of the human bones. terer lah doctor ni. but, as always, i syahid di suku masa terakhir. however, ramai gak kengkawan yg syahid gak so takde lah terasa sgt :P i don't think i'll be taking up forensics in the future but it is certainly an interesting field.
