Absolutely BENGANG!

I thought I could stay away from this page, but what has happened just now infuriates me to bits that I have to defy my previous declaration.

I vow to never deal with this *'H company' ever again nor will I promote it to the juniors.

As my batch is on the verge of entering our clinical years, we have been busy acquiring the necessary medical equipments. Somehow, I was 'lucky' enough to have become the person in-charge of it all.

Confused by the different companies and their offers, I was attracted by this particular company. The owner had a sister who was a 3rd year med student. Dealing with this kakak, I invested my trust in her and promoted the products offered by her bro's company. In the beginning, there was only this company. Later, the competition began and we started to get some bargain prices for the stethoscope. Alhamdulillah that's over with. So are the tendon hammer and the white coat deals.

But this H company was the only one we were buying the BP sets and diagnostic sets from (I didn't buy them, but my friends did). They, (my friends) are most enthusiastic about buying the BP sets for personal reasons. The price of these products are certainly not cheap, but they wanted them anyway. No sample was provided and we just had to have faith in the company that it was the best offer they could give. She's a senior med student, she must surely know which one is good, or so i thought. (note to self, one must never be too trusting)

This entire ordeal has been going on for the last two to three months. It involved scouting, confirming, promoting, getting the name list, confirming again, collecting money and ordering the products. Alhamdulillah I had help from Anis, Faiezah and Aida who were kind enough to agree to collect the huge sum of money for me. I don’t think I could have handled that kind of stress alone.

So now, just this evening in fact, i received a message informing me that the order had arrived and I was to go collect it. I was quite excited despite not having ordering anything.

After Aida and I had collected the items from the senior’s room, we went over the stuff, scrutinizing them. That’s when we noticed the pen torches. It was the same kind that my other classmates bought for RM12.50 and they charged us RM26 for it. My god, that’s sheer treachery. When I messaged that senior, she called to say that it was the genuine stuff and was imported all the way from USA. Hah, I think they should check back their supplier. When I confronted her and compared the items before her, she realized that I was right. I’m dreading the task of telling my classmates this matter.

After isya’, I had to go see ustaz with Faizah to settle some matter.

Then, Aida came to my room and showed me the BP set which had some problems. Sigh! what else could be wrong? The arm cuffs were rather big and couldn’t be fastened tightly. We went together to see the senior. After testing it out and confirming for herself the truth behind our claims, she began to beat about the bush without actually coming up with a solution. Nganga je kitorang kat situ. She had the nerve to go on talking with her friends in front of us. Seeing the situation as it was, we excused ourselves.

Fumed as I am, I can barely study. The clock keeps ticking. But I have to ease my anger and frustration. My friends are busy. I’m supposed to be busy too. Busy studying. But i just cannot study.

*(the name has been changed to protect the company which doesn't seem worth protecting actually)
